We cordially invite you to the Annual CAPHRI Research Day which will be held on Thursday 9 November 2017 at Château St. Gerlach (Joseph Corneli Allee 1, Valkenburg aan de Geul). Theme of the day will be ‘CAPHRI: Connecting People’.
In the morning, after an introduction about CAPHRI’s current state of affairs, a plenary session will be held about the theme of the day ‘Connecting People’. Connection starts amongst us. The morning session will therefore focus on a presentation of our own research lines to ourselves.
In the afternoon, three parallel sessions will take place. There will be a plenary session on the topic of ‘Connecting CAPHRI with the rest of the world’. Next to this session, there will be two workshops; a workshop ‘Connecting with different stakeholders and their interests’ primarily for CAPHRI’s Postdocs and PhD candidates and a workshop 'Verbinden' primarily for CAPHRI’s support staff.
The afternoon sessions will be followed by the presentation of the CAPHRI Societal Award (Scientific staff, professors excluded), CAPHRI PhD Dissertation Award (year 2016) and CAPHRI Poster Award. After which we will close the day with informal drinks
The day will be chaired by Prof. Maurice Zeegers and the official language will be English.
If you would like to attend, please fill out the registration form before Thursday 2 November.
