We cordially invite you to the Annual CAPHRI Research Day which will be held on Thursday 24 November 2016 at Château St. Gerlach (Joseph Corneli Allee 1, Valkenburg). Theme of the day will be ‘CAPHRI; a PhD factory?’. We believe that we have put together a programme that is interesting for all CAPHRI employees, academic and non-academic.
In the morning, after a general introduction about CAPHRI’s current state of affairs, a discussion will be led by our Rector Prof. Rianne Letschert about the theme of the day ‘CAPHRI; a PhD factory?’. During the lunch 18 posters will be displayed, selected on the basis of a poll for CAPHRI staff that will open soon.
In the afternoon, three parallel sessions will take place. There will be a plenary session on the topic of Big Data. Next to this session, there will be two workshops; a workshop ‘Personal Branding’ for CAPHRI’s Postdocs and PhD candidates and a workshop ‘Invloed zonder macht’ for CAPHRI’s non-academic staff (OBP). The OBP will receive a personal invitation for their workshop. The afternoon sessions will be followed by the presentation of the Jury Poster Award, Public Poster Award, Public Health Award and Health Care Award. The day will end with informal drinks whilst enjoying music played by few of our CAPHRI colleagues.
The day will be chaired by Prof. Maurice Zeegers and the official language will be English.
Online registration is now closed.
